Kozen-in(Temple)

It was opened by Muchaku Buddhist priest
in 1370. This temple is known for its the
Zenkai Buddhist priest, who was described in
the novel of `Onshu-no Kanatani' by Kan Kikuchi
and had entered the Buddhisthood at this temple.

Bussanji(Temple)

This temple was built about 1200 years ago as
a temple of Rinzaishu sect. It is famous for
a big camellia tree and ginkgonut tree, as well as
natural monuments.

Ohosha(Shrine)

It is famous for many spectacular cedar trees
in the ground. Among them, there is the largest
ceder tree with 14m circumference at the bottom
and 35m height, which is designated as a natural
monument of Yufuin. Although the age of this cedar
tree is thought to be 1200 years old, new sports are
still growing.

Unaguhime Shrine

Unaguhime was a princess of an ancient trie who
lived in olded times. She is enshrined in this shrine.
There were some big cedar trees which have aged over
than several hundred years. However, they were fallen
by the typhoon in 1991 and now only their stumps remain.
This shrine has been visited by many tourists over the years
